Starting your yoga practise with a beginners course is an ideal way to establish a safe and healthy future on the mat.
The beginners course will give you a strong foundation enabling you to confidently explore the different styles of yoga on our timetable.
Different postures correspond to strengthening and stretching various muscles throughout the body, ultimately keeping the muscles strong and the joints lubricated. Resulting in a healthy spine and body.
We will also study and practice yogic breathing techniques (Pranayama) such as full yogic breath, alternate nostril breathing and kapalbhati. Pranayama exercises elevate the energy throughout the body. The breathing exercises promote both physical and mental benefits such improves resting heart rate, removes of stale air and toxins, and generally focuses and calms the mind.
You will learn different relaxation techniques to help you maintain a good energy level. Reaping the benefits of the physical practise.
You will learn what we believe to be a healthy balanced diet and how to introduce them to your daily life.
Meditation sounds word sounds like a scary word! But we will arm you with the tools to help you discover it is not, and that the simple, natural technique can easily be incorporated in to everyday life!
