We are super excited to have the awesome Calli Yoga join us from London for a whole weekend of playful exploring and nourishing workshops. Turning things upside down, on our hands and finding ease and grace in our practice.

Arm Balances: Set Your Foundations To Fly - Saturday 18th November 2:30 - 4:30 pm.

This workshop will explore the alignment, strength & stability required to arm balance with ease. Breaking down the correct alignment of Chaturanga as the basis of all arm balances, ensuring we have strong foundations from which to grow. Once stable we will build from the ground up, exploring core strength, shoulder girdle stability & whole body integration in arm balances such as Bakasana (Crow), Ashtavakrasana, & Eka Pada Koundinyasana. This workshop will give you the tools to add arm balances into your practice with confidence and explore transitioning to and from them effortlessly. 

Powerful Play: A Journey Upside Down - Sunday 19th November 12:30 - 2:30 pm.

Inversions encourage us to look at the world differently, to literally turn our world upside down, but with this can come an element of fear.  Fear of falling, failing or even allowing ourselves to see things from a different perspective. During this workshop we will explore inversions from the ground up, focusing on Headstand & Forearm balance as our base, creating a safe and stable foundation, breaking down key components anatomically but with a sense of play, we will build strength, stability, and courage to turn our worlds upside down.

Soul Food: Nourish, Evolve & Dissolve - Sunday 19th November 3 - 5 pm.

This workshop will guide you through the most delicious slow moving & spacious flow; a full spectrum practice, with a focus on finding grace and ease in transitions, whilst stretching and unfurling the physical body to release into the depths of each & every layer, physically and mentally. We will open up to explore finding space in backbends & flow freely without attachment to an outcome. Allowing an understanding that there is no rush, there is nowhere else we need to be. This practice will be a mix of slow moving vinyasa flow followed by restorative yoga, pranayama a long luxurious relaxation. 

A bit about Calli:

Calli has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, starting at a young age, and has completed over 500 hours of teacher training. She specializes in teaching inversions and arm balances in an accessible and fun manner; weaving philosophy and heart felt slow - flows together in a  creative and nondogmatic way. She supports & teaches on teacher trainings and retreats internationally and teaches in some of the best studios in London. Her style is playful and encourages practitioners to intrinsically feel and trust the capabilities of their bodies. She has practiced, played with and learnt from some of the best teachers in the world and continues to explore all of the different avenues of her practice and teaching, a forever student with an insatiable passion to share this powerful practice.
