The hips are one of the main areas in our body where we hold the most tension. In our modern day, often sedentary lifestyle, the hips can become extremely tight, causing problems with mobility.
In this workshop, we will begin to chip away at some of the tension you may be holding in and around your hips, and you’ll begin to experience greater freedom and mobility in this area through a series of opening and stretching yoga asana.
During the workshop, we will learn how to work into two powerful and iconic hip openers – king pigeon pose and hanumanasana (splits), exploring some of the beautiful stories behind these poses along the way.
By the end of our time together, you will have experienced your hips in a whole different way! Prepare to be inspired, challenged - and opened!
