As women, we’re asked to play many roles in our lives – mother, sister, friend, lover, daughter, caretaker, employee – to name but a few. How do we find balance between all these responsibilities and where can we turn if we need help?

In this empowering, inspiring and fun workshop, you will meet and work with the energy of some of the enigmatic ‘Goddesses of Yoga’ in a down-to-earth, accessible way.

Some you may have heard of already, like Kali and Lakshmi. Others you may be meeting for the first time – like Durga and Parvati. By working with and connecting to these powerful archetypes, we can invite more strength, courage, confidence, willpower, abundance, radiance and joy into our lives.

Through asana, uplifting music, journaling exercises, meditations, mantras and kriyas, you will learn ‘who to call’ if you need 'spiritual help' and experience some of the gifts these goddesses have to offer us. Add another dimension to your yoga practice, learn more about yogic / Indian philosophy and get a big boost of confidence to take with you into the rest of your life.

Bring a journal and if you wish, a special item to place on our Goddess puja / altar (you can take it away with you at the end)

Who's Lauren?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to yoga – although my journey officially began in my late teens at a body balance class!

Sometime around my mid-twenties, I began to struggle with anxiety. I tried to ignore it, but it only seemed to get louder as I got older. Yoga was one of the only things that seemed to help, so my interest began to deepen. I found a wonderful teacher who opened my eyes to the true transformative power of the practice. I began to explore the other aspects of yoga, beyond the physical practice that we know in the West.
