Introduction To Meditation

Have you always wanted to start a meditation practice but not sure where to begin? 




In this workshop Abbie will be stripping it right back to basics and giving clear tips and ideas of different meditation techniques and working with changing the way we look at the meditation - what it should look like - feel like - etc.

Guiding you to find your own unique way of entering a space within yourself where you can begin to observe rather than react, and begin to find calmness because we are all individual and have our own unique ways.

Allowing this practice to be enjoyable and turning it into a devotion rather than a choice.

Prepare for your workshop

Wear comfortable clothing and bring a blanket and pillow with you.  We have Mats at the studio so no need to bring one with you unless you prefer to use your own.  Please arrive at least 10 mins before the workshop to allow time to check in and familiarise yourself with the surroundings and staff.


Whos abbie?

Abbie has just got back from 4 years of travelling, visiting some amazing countries from Australia to Sri Lanka, New Zealand to India. Learning new skills as she travelled she is a qualified holistic massage therapist, reiki practitioner and on her final stop in India she qualified as a yoga teacher. Bringing all of her influences from around the world, we are lucky to have Abbie as part of the TYF team.


You may cancel a workshop/event/course up to 5 days before class. If you early cancel, you get a full refund.

Cancelling a workshop/event/course within 5 days or failing to attend a booked workshop/event/course is non-refundable. You may pass a booking onto a friend at no extra cost, however we must be notified of the change by email if a friend will attend in your place.
