Program

A new year is a good way to start incorporating new, beneficial habits. We are pleased to offer a 6-week 'Nutrition Essentials' course lead by Nutritional Therapist - Whitney Lodge. Expect to understand:
1) Ingredients & Pantry Essentials: how to stock your cupboards for busy weeks & a hungry family (including essential equipment)
2) Tip's & Tricks for Quick & Easy Meals: some cupboard staples and how to cook these to enable tasty, healthy and no-fuss dinners (including recipes and a suggestion/example of weeks worth of meals)
3) 10 Portions a Day: how to get your 10 fruit and vegetable portions in, daily
4) Sugar: how to look out for it on food labels and how to avoid it as best you can
5) Breakfast: how to ensure you have a healthy, balanced breakfast that enables slow and steady blood sugar release for sustained energy throughout the day; get the low down on blood sugar balance
6) Gut: how an optimally functional gut is the key to the assimilation of all your good work

About the course leader - Whitney...

Whitney is a passionate advocate of nutritional therapy and the power that food plays in the quality of lives we lead. As a practitioner, she likes to share naturopathic philosophy and treatment modalities to enhance and encourage optimal well-being through her holistic approach. She aims to empower clients to take their health and wellbeing into their own hands, providing therapeutic patient-centred treatment plans for clients to have the necessary self-help skills to continue and progress to achieve their health goals.


CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel a workshop/event/course up to 5 days before class. If you early cancel, you get a full refund.

Cancelling a workshop/event/course within 5 days or failing to attend a booked workshop/event/course is non-refundable. You may pass a booking onto a friend at no extra cost, however we must be notified of the change by email if a friend will attend in your place.
