Tahini Sauce


150ml light tahini

Juice of 1 lemon

3-5 tbsp of water as needed

1 tsp shoyu (soy sauce)

Salt and pepper


  1. Mix the tahini with the crushed garlic, and lemon juice. At this point the mixture is a dense thick paste.

  2. Add a little water, tablespoon by tablespoon, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  3. Add the shoyu and season to taste.

  4. Serve with stirfry


Add syrup if wanted
