This 3 hour workshop is perfect for both complete beginners, those returning to the practice as well as anyone wanting to go back to basics. We will explore the key groups of yoga postures... standing, forward folds, backbends, twists and sun salutations including how to use the breath to benefit your practice and ease you into meditation and relaxation.
Learn how to make the yoga postures work you no matter your age, body shape or size... yoga really is for everyone!
This workshop will be in a relaxed and informal setting giving you the chance to ask as many questions as you like and ending with the chance to have a cuppa and chat at the end.
By the end of the day you will have the knowledge and confidence to attend classes or even start a home practice. Cuppa & chat from 5pm

Prepare for your workshop
Wear comfortable clothing that you find it easy to move in. We have Mats at the studio so no need to bring one with you unless you prefer to use your own. Yoga is usually practiced in bare feel but if you prefer to wear socks, the non slip kind are the best to use. Please arrive at least 10 mins before the workshop to allow time to check in and familiarise yourself with the surroundings and staff.
My interest in Yoga developed over the last 14 years while I was traveling the world as a professional dancer to help increase my strength and flexibility.
Not only did it aid in my recovery but it also had a sense of keeping me calm through the uncertainty of my dancing career. I began to notice small changes in myself... how i viewed situations differently, the feeling I had after my practice and the way it would set me up for the day ahead to make the most of everything.
Since completing my training my love and passion for Yoga keeps on growing, I am lucky enough to be teaching full time and continuing to delve further into Yoga and what it has to offer.
