At the end of a year abroad I took my first yoga class in Fiji and couldn't believe the effect it had on me! I felt calmer and became very aware of how I held tension in my body and around my breath. With every class this deepened and from this starting point I began to live more consciously, with more ability to flow with life instead of feeling overwhelmed by it. Now I can't imagine starting my day without my yoga practice.
I love to travel and have continued to learn abroad with many beautiful teachers. In Bangkok I practiced Vipassasana meditation at Wat Mahathat with the Buddhist monks that live and teach there. In 2010 learnt Reiki 1st degree with my teacher Nick harris in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I am now very proud to be an 8th Generation Reiki Master. In India I lived and studied Yoga at an Ashram in Goa. I then completed my 200hr Teacher Training course at Himalaya Yoga valley and I am a member of Yoga Alliance.
My time in India left me inspired to teach in a style that honours a traditional approach. I focus on healing and stengthening the body and mind with internal focus, connection to the body and use of breath. My understanding of Yoga, Reiki and Meditation compliment each other beautifully and the more I learn the more passionate I feel about passing the benefits on to the people I teach.
