This is a perfect opportunity to recharge and rest the mind and body before the winter season begins. Laura will guide you through 2 yoga classes a day aimed at building on your current asana practice or even starting out on your yoga journey.
If your looking to take your yoga practice a little more serious or just want to give it a good go, this is the perfect retreat for you. You will leave Casa Ananda feeling revitalised and fulfilled in both body and mind.

A bit about LAURA!
Laura first started her Yoga practice 5 years ago when stepping onto the mat for different reasons that she has now. But it feels like her journey began 2 years ago when she began to seek refuge in her practice to cope with the stresses of life and work.
What originally seemed like a great way to gain flexibility and gain strength became an entire new way of living. She began to notice how she was coping with things better and her outlook on what was important in life began to do a total 360. Understanding how this practice helped her cope with daily life in this western world, Laura felt compelled to be able to find a way to share this with others.
Her yoga classes are a mix of creative flow sequences to get you out of your head and into your bodies while always leaving little spaces of calm. Laura feels its important to find time for self Loveland self reflection and every class comes with a specific theme and intention to get her students thinking in new ways.

Staying at Casa Ananda...
The retreat house is hosted in a wonderful luxury villa that is located on mainland Spain, situated at the top of the Montgo Mountain, Denia. The villa is built in Spanish Finca style with rustic tiled floors, it has a real ‘homes and garden’ look with the comfort of a homely feel. Set in a quiet, prestigious residential area with spectacular panoramic sea views. The garden is peaceful and secluded surrounded by the mountain stillness and greenery. The yoga classes tend to be on the lower platform which has lovely views of the Montgo, often being able to see the sun rise over the sea.
At Casa Ananda we have a maximum occupancy of 8 guests in 4 twin bedrooms all guests will need to share a twin room so if you can come with a friend it’s ideal, otherwise we will choose a room for you with someone of the same sex. All bedrooms have an ensuite shower room and are fully air-conditioned or heated in the winter months. The house has indoor and outdoor eating areas and lounges as well as a large amount of outdoor garden space with fantastic views.

During the retreat Laura will be delivering classes that are accessible to all abilities. Laura’s mindful approach to teaching will give you time to explore each asana creating space to connect with the breath. During the morning class Laura will take a more dynamic approach to teaching energizing and waking the body. Students will end the day with a more restorative based class to allow rest and recovery throughout the body and mind.
Throughout your stay there will also be a chance to participate in a number of activities;
· Cooking experience
· Nature walks through the scenic national park of mount Denia with fantastic views.
· Visit to the Old historic town of Denia (mostly tapas bars and no museums)
· Beach yoga and sunset meditation
All activities are optional
Whilst staying at Casa Ananda all meals are vegetarian, based on ayurvedic and yogic cooking principles. All food is freshly prepared and is organic and locally sourced. The two daily meals are spaced apart so that we allow the digestive system to rest and allowing it to function efficiently through regular eating times, preserving a maximum amount of energy.
We advice you to bring warm clothing for the yoga classes. tracksuit bottoms and shorts, t-shirts jumper and socks for full comfort during relaxation, allowing comfortable relaxation. We advise bringing swim shorts if you wish to swim in the pool or sea.
All indoor towels, linen and shower soap are supplied, you just need a beach towel and your tooth brush.
Yoga Mats and cushions are also supplied but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

There is also an optional charge of £100 pp for a return transfer. If you are interested please let us know at time of booking (some guests like to make their own way to the retreat house or make most of the trip to spain/we are happy to advise on local hotels if you would like to extend your stay)
Just arrived home after a wonderful few days at Casa Ananda. I ate healthily, exercised and rested, a recipe for a perfect weekend. I would recommend Casa Ananda to anyone that wants to take time out from their busy lives to learn how to bring yoga, meditation and good food into their daly routine, I will definitely be going back again soon! It is difficult to describe the tranquility and well-being that resonates at Casa Ananda! In morning the beautiful sun rises over the sea, the green garden and an ideal climate give a perfect setting. It is the ideal place for those who want to spend a few days on a yoga retreat in perfect yogi style, following the sacred principles of relaxation, meditation and healthy food. I enjoyed the tasty and balanced recipes prepared with local ingredients; the fruit and vegetables, tasty and nutritious, are brought from the local market with a varied selection of seasonal ingredients! During the yoga class I was assisted properly, the teachers were readily available to help with advice and support ... It was a great experience which helped me to embrace the benefits of yoga. The experience leaves me thinking about my stay everyday at Casa Ananda, I love thinking of the memories it helps we live a little 'Casa Ananda'every day :) Alesia, Italia
