I frequently refer to myself as a “conscious living coach”, mainly because of my desire to support my clients to live as consciously as possible as it has been proven to enhance my own life. While this is sometimes very hard to do, it is also deeply empowering. Living consciously enables me to live and feel more fully, leading to real relationships with others.
One of the most effective ways to deepen our understanding of feelings, thoughts and reactions is through increasing our self-awareness. I have found that, with exploration of my experiences and by developing a regular practice that promotes self-awareness
I am able to understand and work with my feelings, releasing energy and express my emotions givi ng me the ability to interact with others in a much more authentic way.
Alongside my personal journey of experiences, relationships and events I have also practiced yoga for 10 years and trained as a practioner in both yoga and therapeutic yoga. I started training as a coach three years ago and after 18 months and 40 sessions of practice I qualified and have continued to coach and teach yoga since then.
I have a different relationship with myself nowadays. I give myself time to observe my inner dialogue and am able to intercept my negative self-talk. I speak more directly from my heart, expressing what I truly feel as well as being more responsive and much less reactive.
As a result of my training and profound life experiences as a practitioner, I have created a simple 5 step process to help my clients build strong foundations to re-connect with themselves, enabling them to live a more fulfilling life.
Body Awareness: In this session I will support you to be in your body fully and to experience how you feel and how small changes in your postureand flexibility will enhance your physical health.
Step 2: Breath and Energy: This session is designed to show you how to access your own inner energy centres and further develop your use of breath to support you in becoming more centred, grounded and calm in your every-day life.
Step 3: Mind/Self Awareness: Together we start to explore behaviours, attitudes and responses and begin to identify patterns and feelings that you may be experiencing.
Step 4: The Ego: We will reflect on the explorations from Step 3 to gain greater insight into our internal workings and how this impacts on how we relate to ourselves, to others and to the world we live in.
Step 5: Transformation/ Action: We work together to enable you to move forward, setting a goal and some authentic steps for you to action. I am so excited and humbled to bring this programme to you. My experience and learning has made sure that the programme is relevant to todays world and I believe it will support you with your own journey. There is no compelling or promotional sales pitch: this is a gentle and compassionate way of unfolding and growing at an accessible and affordable cost
