Teaching Principles

  • Yoga of the Body.

Yoga of the body teaches how to understand, care, develop and thrive in incarnation.

  • Yoga of the Heart

Understand, transform and liberate your emotional realm. Learn the power of devotion and inspiration.

  • Yoga of the Mind.

The mind is your worst enemy or your best friend as it says in the Bhagavad Gita.

Understanding the mind via neuroscience and the yogic lens and discovering how certain practices can change your mind from being destructive to being a powerful tool of co-creation and wellbeing

  • Yoga of the Breath.

The breath is the gateway between stress and resilience, between creativity and destruction and is also the vehicle for prana.

Like a magic key it gives access to deeper levels of awareness, deeper levels of the subconscious mind, the connection between mind and life-energy and to the environment.

  • Yogic Philosophy.

Yogic philosophy is a pragmatic approach on how to live well. It seeks to answer lifes’ questions with a deep devotional dimension that engages the heart.

  • The Obstacles.

Exploring the barriers we put up to limit our own self growth.

  • Yogic Community.

Understanding what yogic community is and how to cultivate it is enabling, supportive, challenging and liberating.

  • Consciousness

What is the difference between conscious and subconscious, subconscious and unconscious? What is the relationship between consciousness and awareness, awareness and attention?

What do the yogic texts say about consciousness? What does contemporary science say about consciousness? Let’s find out and grow together in consciousness.

  • Science of Yoga.

How does the body actually work? How does meditation affect the brain? Why do we feel good when we do certain practices? What are the areas we need to pay attention to, what might be compromising our wellbeing if we are not aware of it?

  • Yoga as Medicine.

Traditionally yoga was to elevate beyond the the physical dimension, however its modern day usage is somewhat more therapeutic. We will explore this in depth.

Christopher Gladwell

Yoga Master, Certified Breath-work Practitioner, and Founder of Evolutionary Breath-work

Deep practice, study and living the vision of non-dual yoga and tantra in its manifold facets (physical practice-asana, bodywork, breath-work and pranayama, meditation and mindfulness, vibration and mantra, devotion and bhakti for nearly 40 years. I was initiated into the Vedic Dasnami Sanyass, have worked for 15 years with Shamanic teachers, and was an apprentice in a Vajrayana lineage.

I have received initiation into core practices of deep mantra, meditation and teachings that have inspired and directed my life.

Christopher Gladwell 500hrYTT

I’ve taught internationally for twenty years around Europe, Africa and Asia.

I’m also a trained biologist and multi qualified in contemporary psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, NLP, conscious breathwork, fascial bodywork and functional anatomy.

My teachings are rippling with the relationships between us as biology, our bodies, minds, emotions, psychology and more. The practices derived from the worlds of yoga, shamanism, meditation and mindfulness through Holokinesis help us find peace of mind, clarity, optimal flow, peak performance and spiritual depth and realisation.

Liberating practices from the accretions of culture and religion we can access a secular base to practice rooted in biology, psychology and neuroscience and find our unique way of connecting to all that is through direct experience.

Josh Lipscombe

Yoga Teacher, TYF Founder

Josh discovered various yogic practices as a teen and knew from the very beginning he had found something that would be a life’s journey. Eager to deepen and further develop his understanding of the yogic practices Josh trained with his first teacher Conrad Paul in the UK. He was inspired to continue his journey of learning and sharing the yogic practices. This led him to The Sivananda Organisation where he immersed himself in living within spiritual communities in India, France and London. He strives to cultivate the great sense of community he discovered in his travels, only in the home Josh grew up in. Now working on growing his own yoga centre - The Yoga Factory

Josh’s message is strong and clear. A goal of harmonious living through exploration, play & authenticity. Merging tradition with evidence based practices.
