Yoga Flow combines creative vinyasa flows with seated and standing postures, back bends and balances that are seamlessly linked with the breath.
These classes are as much about the transitions as the asana and will help you build strength while improving your fitness, stability and balance.
These are open level classes that are softer the Dynamic Flow classes.
-
Dynamic classes are open level but can be more physically demanding.
These classes link fluid movement with breath in a way that is designed to improve flexibility and stamina.
This class is great for practitioners who are looking to work up a sweat.
-
All the benefits of a flow class with the added bonus of extra relaxation.
After moving and stretching the body, raising the heart rate and releasing tension, the teacher will guide you through a series of passive postures often with the use of props and blankets and ends with a long savasana.
All students are welcome.
-
Restorative & Nidra classes focus on deep rest.
Depending on the teacher, the classes begin with gentle somatic movements or supported restorative poses and move into either Yoha Nidra (yogic sleep) or Meditation.
Expect physical, emotional and energetic release and calming of the nervous system.
No yoga experience required, just a desire to relax and optimise your own well-being
-
Yin helps us to calm the nervous system and pay attention to our mind.
Poses are held between 3-5 minutes to nourish joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia and help us cultivate stillness in body and mind.
This is a meditative and quiet practice suitable for students of all levels and experience.
-
Pilates Flow combines classical mat Pilates with fluid mindful movement and conditioning exercises.
This is a fun, open level class that is designed to improve posture, even out muscular imbalances & increase over all strength.
-
Barre is a deep conditioning class combining elements of Pilates and Ballet exercises.
It is an effective form of exercise that tones and strengthens muscles that are otherwise hard to target.
Expect to release a whole lots of endorphins, feel the burn and leave the room feeling energised and strong.
Open to all levels of practice.
